Lichfield is one of Staffordshire’s most picturesque cathedral cities — a place where mediaeval charm meets modern living. New build housing in and around Lichfield has grown significantly, particularly to the south of the city towards Burntwood and along the A38 corridor, attracting buyers who want the character of an historic city combined with the energy efficiency and practicality of a modern new build. Koti Homes serves Lichfield and the wider Midlands, specialising exclusively in new build flooring. We understand what new properties need — and we deliver it professionally, promptly and at a price that works for you.
Why LVT Is the Best Choice for Your New Build in Lichfield
For new build flooring in Lichfield, LVT — Luxury Vinyl Tile — is Koti Homes’ recommendation of choice. LVT is 100% waterproof, meaning it can be used throughout your new home — in kitchens, bathrooms, hallways, utility rooms and en suites — without any risk of moisture damage. This is crucial in a new build, where subfloors and plasterwork are still releasing residual moisture.LVT lasts around 20 years, is compatible with underfloor heating, and comes in a wide range of wood and stone effects that suit Lichfield’s blend of traditional and contemporary interiors. Browse our flooring options and LVT FAQs. We fit glue-down LVT from Invictus, Karndean, Amtico, J2 Flooring and Brampton Chase.
Carpets for New Builds in Lichfield
Carpet is the instinctive choice for bedrooms, staircases and landing areas in Lichfield new builds — and Koti Homes has a well-rounded range from quality brands. Twist pile is our recommendation for stairs and hallways: durable, practical and ideal for busy households. Saxony brings a deep, luxurious feel to bedrooms. Loop pile adds textured character to living spaces and studies. We supply from Abingdon (Stainfree lifetime stain guarantee), Invictus and Cormar. Carpet can be fitted the day after key handover, alongside your LVT. See our carpet FAQ.
Bathroom Vinyl
For bathrooms and en-suites we fit sheet vinyl from Polyflor and Comfytex: fully waterproof, warm underfoot and easy to clean. Koti fits glue-down LVT and carpet throughout the rest of the house. We don’t fit click LVT, laminate or tiles.
