We’re thrilled to unveil our latest work for Elemento Group at their prestigious 16-unit development in the picturesque village of Docking, near King’s Lynn. This project epitomises high-specification living, and the show home is a perfect reflection of the luxury and care poured into every detail. A Seamless Blend of Style and Functionality For this showcase property, we’ve paired Karndean Knight Tile Grey Limed Oak, installed in a timeless herringbone pattern, with the soft and inviting Cormar Apollo Plus Nougat carpet. The LVT brings a sleek, modern look to the main living areas, while the carpets provide warmth and comfort in the stairs, landings, and bedrooms. Together, these materials perfectly complement the high-quality finishes throughout the home. Burbage Recent Project
We are always excited to take on new flooring projects, and one of our favourite projects to date was a recent transformation of a home located in the charming village of Burbage. Burbage is a picturesque village located in Leicestershire, England, with a rich history and a thriving community. It is known for its beautiful countryside, charming architecture, and proximity to the city of Leicester. For this particular project, we were tasked with transforming the home’s flooring, which was previously covered in tiles. However, because underfloor heating was installed below the tiles, we needed to find a solution that wouldn’t require removing them. After careful consideration, we decided to install a primer, damp proof membrane, and levelling screed to minimise disruption and cost while still achieving the desired result. We then covered the tiles with a beautiful Handscraped Vanilla Oak engineered wood flooring, which complemented the home’s aesthetic and provided a warm and inviting atmosphere. The Handscraped Vanilla Oak is a stunning option that features a distinctive texture and natural grain patterns, giving it a unique character that’s sure to impress. The customer was thrilled with the final product, and we were called back to complete their stair runner, which will be featured in a future post. New Lubbesthorpe Project
We are excited to announce the completion of yet another successful new build project, this time in the New Lubbesthorpe area. This area has undergone significant changes over the years, with many new build developers such as Barratts, Davidsons and Redrow Homes working tirelessly to create new homes for residents. We are proud to be part of this thriving community and offer our services to deliver quality flooring solutions to new homes in the area. For this latest project, we opted for Amtico Nordic Oak flooring, which was expertly laid in a straight pattern throughout the whole house, including the stairs. Amtico is a premium brand known for its innovative designs, durability, and easy maintenance, making it the perfect choice for a new build home. The Nordic Oak design provides a sleek, modern look, giving the space a warm and welcoming atmosphere. To create a seamless finish between the stairs and the rest of the house, we fitted Stair Rods Bendy Bull Nosings to the stairs. This solution not only looks great, but it’s also an excellent option for customers who may have allergies to carpets, as it eliminates any potential allergens in the home. We pulled out all the stops to ensure that the project was completed to the highest standard, without compromising on quality or safetyWe understand that moving into a new home can be a stressful and time-sensitive process. That’s why we always strive to meet our deadlines and accommodate our customers’ needs, even if it means working over the weekend.
Blaby Recent Project
We are really proud to have recently completed another successful new build project in Blaby, Leicestershire, located in the East Midlands of England. We’re pleased to have contributed to the town’s unique character with our latest new build project. The project involved using high-quality materials to ensure durability and longevity while creating a visually appealing space. The customer was really impressed that we could complete the project just 3 days after they completed on their new home. This saved costs as they cut out the developers high margins, it also meant they could move in really quickly. One of the key elements of the project was the use of Karndean Knight Tile Lime Washed Oak flooring, which was used in a standard-sized plank laid in a herringbone pattern. Karndean is a trusted name in the flooring industry, known for its innovative and stylish designs, durability, and easy maintenance. The lime washed oak design gives a natural, rustic look, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere in any room. However, to ensure the flooring was installed correctly, a damp proof membrane and a 3mm latex screed were used to level the sub-floor and avoid any potential issues with moisture. The damp proof membrane acts as a barrier, preventing moisture from rising from the sub-floor and affecting the new flooring. The latex screed was used to level the sub-floor, ensuring a smooth and even surface for the flooring to be laid. In conclusion, the use of high-quality materials such as Karndean Knight Tile Lime Washed Oak flooring and the proper installation methods, including the use of a damp proof membrane and a 3mm latex screed, have resulted in a stunning and durable new build project for Koti Homes Ltd in Blaby, Leicestershire
Broughton Astley Recent Project
We are thrilled to have successfully delivered a flooring project for a family in the beautiful village of Broughton Astley. Broughton Astley is located in Leicestershire, England, and is known for its picturesque countryside and vibrant community. The village is currently experiencing a period of expansion, with several new build projects underway, making it an exciting place to be. Our team is proud to have contributed to the development of this village by delivering high-quality flooring solutions for our clients. This project not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the property but also helped our customer save a considerable sum of money – £3,000 compared to the developer’s price. For the downstairs area of the property, we used Karndean Knight Tile Limed Washed Oak SM, which was laid in a herringbone pattern. This choice of flooring adds a touch of sophistication and elegance to the space, while the herringbone pattern gives it a unique twist. For the upstairs bathrooms, we opted for Karndean Knight Tile Grey Limed Oak SM. This flooring solution is not only visually appealing but is also highly practical, as it is water-resistant and easy to maintain, making it ideal for bathrooms. Finally, we used Abingdon Stainfree New York Graphite carpets on the stairs and in the bedrooms. These carpets are both soft and durable, ensuring that they can withstand heavy foot traffic while remaining comfortable underfoot.
