Coalville, at the heart of the National Forest in northwest Leicestershire, has been undergoing a quiet transformation in recent years. New build housing has expanded significantly across the town and in nearby villages like Whitwick and Hugglescote, as the area benefits from improved infrastructure and growing appeal for commuters and families. If you’re one of the many new homeowners in Coalville, Koti Homes is the specialist to call for your flooring. We work exclusively with new builds across the Midlands and understand the particular demands of brand-new properties — bringing the right expertise and products to help you finish your home properly.
Why LVT Is the Best Choice for Your New Build in Coalville
LVT — Luxury Vinyl Tile — is the flooring Koti Homes consistently recommends for new builds in Coalville. It is 100% waterproof, handling the moisture that is an unavoidable feature of new build environments where concrete subfloors and fresh plasterwork are still releasing moisture into the air. It has an impressive lifespan of around 20 years, and is fully compatible with underfloor heating — a feature found in most modern Coalville new builds. LVT is available in a broad selection of realistic wood and stone effects, is low maintenance, and feels comfortable underfoot. For any kitchen, bathroom, hallway or living space, LVT delivers both style and performance. Discover the range through our flooring options page. We fit glue-down LVT from Invictus, Karndean, Amtico, J2 Flooring and Brampton Chase.
Carpets for New Builds in Coalville
Carpet is a popular and practical choice for the softer spaces in your Coalville new build — bedrooms, stairs and landing areas especially. Koti Homes stocks a strong range from quality brands. Twist pile is our recommendation for stairs and hallways — it’s built to handle constant traffic and is excellent for homes with children or pets. Saxony carpet creates a warm, luxurious bedroom environment that makes a real difference to the feel of a room. Loop pile’s textured surface adds character to living spaces and holds up well in busy areas. We supply carpets from Abingdon, Invictus and Cormar, including Abingdon’s Stainfree range with its lifetime stain guarantee. Carpet can be fitted the day after key handover, alongside your LVT. See our carpet FAQ for more.
Bathroom Vinyl
For bathrooms and en-suites we fit sheet vinyl from Polyflor and Comfytex: fully waterproof, warm underfoot and easy to clean. Koti fits glue-down LVT and carpet throughout the rest of the house. We don’t fit click LVT, laminate or tiles.
