Hinckley is one of Leicestershire’s most active areas for new build housing, with major developments across the Hinckley & Bosworth district attracting thousands of new homeowners every year. If you’ve recently collected the keys to a new build in Hinckley — whether near Barwell, Earl Shilton Road, or one of the town’s expanding estates — Koti Homes is here to help. We specialise exclusively in new build flooring, which means we understand exactly what your property needs from day one. From premium LVT to cosy carpets, we deliver quality, speed and expert advice tailored to new build homes.
Why LVT Is the Best Choice for Your New Build in Hinckley
Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) is Koti Homes’ number one recommendation for new builds in Hinckley — and for good reason. LVT is 100% waterproof, making it ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, hallways, and open-plan living areas. In a new build, where subfloors are still settling and humidity levels may fluctuate, LVT’s dimensional stability is a huge advantage. It works exceptionally well with underfloor heating — standard in many new Hinckley homes — and is available in a wide array of realistic wood and stone finishes to suit any interior scheme. Easy to clean and scratch-resistant, LVT is the smart long-term flooring investment for most rooms in your home. Explore our full range of flooring options. We fit glue-down LVT from Invictus, Karndean, Amtico, J2 Flooring and Brampton Chase.
Carpets for New Builds in Hinckley
Carpet remains a firm favourite for bedrooms, stairs, and hallways in new builds across Hinckley, and Koti Homes stocks a carefully selected range from leading brands. For high-traffic areas and stairs, twist pile carpet is our top pick — hardwearing, practical, and a great choice for families with pets or children. In bedrooms, saxony carpet brings a luxurious deep pile underfoot that genuinely elevates the feel of a room. Loop pile offers a smart, textured finish that suits busy living spaces. All carpets are available from trusted names including Abingdon’s Stainfree range, which carries a lifetime stain guarantee — ideal peace of mind in a new home. Carpet can be fitted the day after key handover, alongside your LVT. Read our carpet FAQ for more. As well as Abingdon, we supply carpets from Invictus and Cormar.
Bathroom Vinyl
For bathrooms and en-suites we fit sheet vinyl from Polyflor and Comfytex: fully waterproof, warm underfoot and easy to clean. Koti fits glue-down LVT and carpet throughout the rest of the house. We don’t fit click LVT, laminate or tiles.

Yes — Koti Homes covers Hinckley and the wider Midlands. We specialise exclusively in new build properties and can start fitting the day after you receive your keys.
How soon can flooring be fitted after moving into a new build?
We can start fitting the day after key handover. We prepare the subfloor with a damp-proof membrane and levelling compound first, so there’s no need to wait.
Why does Koti use glue-down LVT?
Glue-down LVT is bonded to a levelled, damp-proofed subfloor, so it stays stable as a new build settles. It’s waterproof and works with underfloor heating.
