Loughborough has seen impressive growth in new build housing in recent years, with large-scale developments on the outskirts of town and around areas like Shelthorpe, Nanpantan Road and the expanding north Charnwood corridor. Whether you’re moving into a new build in Loughborough town itself or one of its surrounding villages, getting the flooring right is one of the most impactful decisions you’ll make. Koti Homes specialises exclusively in new build flooring, bringing expert knowledge, premium products and a fast, professional service to homeowners across Loughborough and the wider Charnwood district.
Why LVT Is the Best Choice for Your New Build in Loughborough
For new builds in Loughborough, Koti Homes strongly recommends LVT — Luxury Vinyl Tile.LVT is 100% waterproof, making it safe to use in kitchens, bathrooms, en suites and utility rooms. LVT is also highly compatible with underfloor heating — increasingly standard in Loughborough’s newest homes. Available in an extensive range of realistic wood and stone effects, it brings a high-end look without the high-end price. Low maintenance, scratch-resistant and extremely durable, LVT is the flooring of choice across kitchens, hallways, living rooms and bathrooms. See our full range of flooring options to find your ideal style. We fit glue-down LVT from Invictus, Karndean, Amtico, J2 Flooring and Brampton Chase.
Carpets for New Builds in Loughborough
Carpet is the natural choice for bedrooms, landings and staircases in new builds across Loughborough, and Koti Homes offers a brilliant range from trusted manufacturers. Twist pile is our go-to recommendation for stairs and hallways — it handles heavy foot traffic brilliantly and is naturally pet-friendly. Saxony carpet, with its rich, deep pile, transforms bedrooms into genuinely luxurious spaces. Loop pile provides a more structured texture and holds its appearance well in busy areas. We stock carpets from leading brands including Abingdon’s Stainfree range, which carries a lifetime stain guarantee — a real selling point for families. Carpet can be fitted the day after key handover, alongside your LVT. For more detail, visit our carpet FAQ. As well as Abingdon, we supply carpets from Invictus and Cormar.
Bathroom Vinyl
For bathrooms and en-suites we fit sheet vinyl from Polyflor and Comfytex: fully waterproof, warm underfoot and easy to clean. Koti fits glue-down LVT and carpet throughout the rest of the house. We don’t fit click LVT, laminate or tiles.
