Why LVT Is the Best Choice for Your New Build in Whetstone
For new build flooring in Whetstone, LVT — Luxury Vinyl Tile — is the product Koti Homes recommends most enthusiastically. LVT is 100% waterproof, which means it can go in any room in your home without risk of water damage — kitchens, bathrooms, en suites, utility rooms and hallways all included.LVT also lasts far longer: around 20 years. It’s compatible with underfloor heating systems — standard in many modern Whetstone homes — and comes in a wide range of realistic wood and stone finishes that look outstanding in any interior. It’s also straightforward to keep clean. LVT gives you the look, the durability and the practicality all in one floor. Browse our flooring options. We fit glue-down LVT from Invictus, Karndean, Amtico, J2 Flooring and Brampton Chase.
Carpets for New Builds in Whetstone
For the cosier spaces in your Whetstone new build — bedrooms, stairs and landing areas — carpet remains the preferred choice, and Koti Homes stocks a brilliant selection. Twist pile is our top recommendation for staircases and hallways, offering excellent durability and a natural resilience that holds up against heavy daily use. It’s particularly good in homes with pets. Saxony carpet creates a genuinely luxurious feel in bedrooms with its deep, soft pile. Loop pile provides a neat, textured finish that suits living areas and home offices. We supply carpets from Abingdon, Invictus and Cormar, and Abingdon’s Stainfree collection comes with a lifetime stain guarantee. Carpet can be fitted the day after key handover, alongside your LVT. Bathroom Vinyl
For bathrooms and en-suites we fit sheet vinyl from Polyflor and Comfytex: fully waterproof, warm underfoot and easy to clean. Koti fits glue-down LVT and carpet throughout the rest of the house. We don’t fit click LVT, laminate or tiles.
