Carpets for New Builds in Birstall
For the softer, more intimate spaces in your Birstall new build — bedrooms, stairs, landings — carpet is still the gold standard, and Koti Homes has a wide selection. Twist pile is our go-to for staircases and hallways: it handles daily footfall without wearing thin, and is naturally well suited to homes with pets. Saxony carpet transforms a bedroom with its deep, luxurious pile. Loop pile’s structured texture is a smart choice for living rooms and studies. We supply carpets from Abingdon (including the Stainfree range with a lifetime stain guarantee), Invictus and Cormar. Carpet can be fitted the day after key handover, alongside your LVT. Our carpet FAQ covers everything you need to know.
Bathroom Vinyl
For bathrooms and en-suites we fit sheet vinyl from Polyflor and Comfytex: fully waterproof, warm underfoot and easy to clean. Koti fits glue-down LVT and carpet throughout the rest of the house. We don’t fit click LVT, laminate or tiles.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can Koti Homes fit flooring in my new build in Birstall?
Yes — Koti Homes covers Birstall and the wider Midlands. We specialise exclusively in new build properties and can start fitting the day after you receive your keys.
How soon can flooring be fitted after moving into a new build?
We can start fitting the day after key handover. We prepare the subfloor with a damp-proof membrane and levelling compound first, so there’s no need to wait.
Why does Koti use glue-down LVT?
Glue-down LVT is bonded to a levelled, damp-proofed subfloor, so it stays stable as a new build settles. It’s waterproof and works with underfloor heating.
